Sacred Embodiment Ritual

Each month, from September to June, Jonathan’s Circle selects a theme based on the current season and (non-denominational) holidays. The CIRCLING edition for the month reflects that theme and we celebrate it with a moderated online theme-based event to ritualize our observance.

These celebrations explore various aspects of the eros-spirit connection, moderated by members of Jonathan’s Circle and special guests, with ample time for give-and-take among participants. You need to have a stable webcam and microphone. You may connect on desktop or laptop or through an app for your phone or tablet.

This month, we’re exploring the generative power of eros to give and receive pleasure–and to create beauty, love, justice, and joy in our world.

In this session lasting between an hour and fifteen minutes and an hour and a half, we will:

  • Check in

  • Talk about how we find the joy in our bodies and our eroticism

  • Awaken the senses in our entire body

  • Explore in the presence of one another the joy of feeling safe, seen, sacred, and celebrated

It is important that we each take care of our whole selves—the erotic included—so that we can offer our gifts most freely to our lovers, our communities, the world… and ourselves in the most powerful way possible.
